Sprint and Splash at Lake St. Clair

The Second Annual Sprint and Splash will be held on Saturday, June th, 2014 at Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Township, Michigan.

Just like last year, the event will offer three options for participation- Duathlon: 5K Run and 2 Mile Kayak (please note this race can be done as an individual or as a two-person relay team), Family Friendly 5K Fun Run & Walk, and a Stand Up Paddleboarding Competition: 2 Mile Recreational Race or 6 Mile WPA Sanctioned Race. Great Lakes Surf Shop, located in St. Clair Shores, sells and rents Stand Up Paddleboards as well as gives lessons and runs camps! Simple Adventures, a kayak rental agency based out of St. Clair Shores, rents a wide variety of kayaks and will deliver to anywhere in MacombCounty. Located a little father north, in Algonac, MI, is The Kayak Store – which offers free demos, and new and used kayaks and paddling accessories for purchase!
