Lake St. Clair Metropark Summer Discovery Cruises

Various Dates Throughout the Summer
The Summer Discovery Cruises held at Lake St. Clair Metropark offer anyone interested in exploring Lake St. Clair, Lake Erie and the Detroit River the opportunity to get out on the water for an educational experience. Cruisers can learn about many aspects of the lake, from lighthouses, shipwrecks, bootleggers and history and culture of the region to fish, ecology, restoration and wind, waves and water - and much more depending on the cruise them. 
 
There are more than 20 cruise themes to choose from. Most cruises range from 2.5 to 4 hours on the water and range in price from $10.00 - $25.00 per person. Ages six and older are welcome on the cruises.

September 18th from 6pm - 9pm
The First Annual Crafts on the Clinton Beer & Wine Tasting to benefit the Clinton River Watershed Council is set for Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 6pm to 9pm at the historic Yates Cider Mill. Guests will have the opportunity to taste some of the best beer and wine selections that Michigan has to offer, while enjoying a summertime barbeque provided by Whole Foods and listening to live music on the banks of the scenic Clinton River.

Canine to Five hosts the Riverfront Canine Walks, guided pack walks through Detroit's beautiful riverfront, every Sunday this summer. Join the group at 10:30 am in the Rivard Place parking lot and walk a variety of scenic routes through the Riverfront with your dog.
