Lake St. Clair Metropark Summer Discovery Cruises

Various Dates Throughout the Summer
The Summer Discovery Cruises held at Lake St. Clair Metropark offer anyone interested in exploring Lake St. Clair, Lake Erie and the Detroit River the opportunity to get out on the water for an educational experience. Cruisers can learn about many aspects of the lake, from lighthouses, shipwrecks, bootleggers and history and culture of the region to fish, ecology, restoration and wind, waves and water - and much more depending on the cruise them. 
 
There are more than 20 cruise themes to choose from. Most cruises range from 2.5 to 4 hours on the water and range in price from $10.00 - $25.00 per person. Ages six and older are welcome on the cruises.

ST. CLAIR SHORES - Organizers are working hard to beat the winter blues with a bigger and better Aqua Freeze Festival in February. This year's festival - with an Oscar theme in honor of the final day of the festival landing on Oscar Sunday - is Feb. 20-22 at Blossom Heath Park, east of Jefferson Avenue and south of 10 Mile Road.
