Kayak & Paddleboard Competition

This May, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will partner with local sailing clubs and sail toward a cure for blood cancer at the Lower Lake St. Clair Leukemia Cup Regatta.  Several events are part of this effort, including kayak & paddleboard competitions and a high school regatta challenge, culminating in the final Leukemia Cup Regatta sail on May 19 at Great Lakes Yacht Club.  All are welcome to sail, raise funds virtually, and attend LCR events.

Kayakers and Paddleboarders compete on and off the water in the Detroit River and on Lake St. Clair.  Racing starts at the Detroit Yacht Club, with unique racecourses for each skill level and racing group.

When:  Friday, May 18, 2018 at 7pm (registration and check-in begins at 6pm)

Who: Kayakers and paddleboarders of all skill levels are welcome to participate!  Each competition will be divided by class/skill level – all are unstoppable fun!
