Down the Aisle: 100 Years of Ford Weddings
Love will be in the air at Ford House in June! Join us as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Eleanor and Edsel Ford's wedding with a new exhibit, Down the Aisle: 100 Years of Ford Family Weddings, running June 26-Nov. 6.
See the en vogue bridal gowns worn by Ford women – including gowns worn by Eleanor Ford (1916), Josephine Ford (1943), Martha Firestone Ford (1947), Lynn Ford Alandt (1975), and right up to more recent Ford family brides' gowns. Explore wedding traditions and trends from the last century, as seen through the lens of four generations of nuptials.
Admission to the Down the Aisle exhibit is free with your Ford House experience, and just one of the many ways we will honor A Century of Love this summer.
Admission is included with your Ford House experience
June 26-Nov. 8, 2016, Tuesday-Saturday, during tour hours.
Entry into the exhibit is included in the estate’s general admission fee.
