April is Michigan Wine Month and to celebrate, Chef Erik has teamed up with Bowers Harbor Vineyard, a boutique winery located in Traverse City, for a spectacular dining experience! Join the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House on Thursday, April 23rd for a five-course wine pairing dinner, created to highlight fresh spring fare, paired with some of the best Michigan wines available.

This 100% volunteer event has gathered over 628 tons of debris from the Lake St. Clair shoreline. Once again, we are encouraging everyone to join our efforts to clean the beaches and shoreline of Lake St. Clair. Volunteers are what made this event the success it has been in the past and it is the volunteers who will make this event a success this year. This has grown into a tremendous "done in a day event" - the largest in the midwest. This year's clean-up sites include Veteran's Memorial Park beach, Blossom Heath Park beach, the Champine Park shoreline and the Chapaton Retention Basin shoreline in St. Clair Shores. Some canal and shoreline homeowner groups will participate in this year's event by cleaning their beaches, canals and waterfront shorelines on the same day.
Sunday, May 24
On Sunday, May 24th the City of St. Clair Shores will host their annual Sailing Thru the Shores 5K Run and Annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade will start at 9 mile and proceeds north on Jefferson to 11 mile. It is one of the biggest memorial day parade in Michigan.
