March 15, March 22 and March 29

March is National Women's History Month and with a theme of Weaving the Stories of Women's Lives Ford House is celebrating with a series of programs to explore the stories of Women Who Motor.

“Looking at the history of the automobile, you can see how women influenced – directly and indirectly - the industry,” said Cindy Olsen, Ford House Director of Material Culture and curator for the Women Who Motor exhibition. “Added comfort and room. The electric start. A focus on safety. Attention to design. Women had their voices heard – and everyone benefited.”
Olsen is the featured speaker at Fast Women/Hot Plates, a series of talks, tours and tastings.  She will take attendees on a journey through the Women Who Motor exhibit followed by a lively talk while you enjoy motoring-inspired delectables prepared by Chef Erik.
