2013 Stars and Stripes Festival

Come on down to Freedom Hill, June 26-29, 2014 for the 8th annual Stars & Stripes Festival. The festival highlights what America has to offer, featuring world-class recording artists, both national and local acts, cuisines from all over the world, art exhibits, carnival rides, and a spectacular fireworks display. Past years have drew well over 500,000 people into downtown Mount Clemens. With twice the entertainment and many more attractions, this year’s Stars & Stripes Festival is expected to bring over half a million people to Freedom Hill over the four day period.

Our events are a great way for local and regional bands to get exposure in front of large crowds. With the Stars & Stripes Festival alone, over 100 bands play on 3 different stages over one weekend. Local and Regional bands interested in playing our events must submit an application and press kit online.

The 2014 Chatham Concert Band summer concert series Runs every Wednesday night at 7:30pm from June 25th through August 27th, in Tecumseh Park in Chatham. Bring a lawn chair & a friend! Concerts are free, with donations gladly accepted.

Canine to Five hosts the Riverfront Canine Walks, guided pack walks through Detroit’s beautiful riverfront, every Sunday this summer. Join the group at 10:30 am in the Rivard Place parking lot and walk a variety of scenic routes through the Riverfront with your dog
