2013 Stars and Stripes Festival

Come on down to Freedom Hill, June 26-29, 2014 for the 8th annual Stars & Stripes Festival. The festival highlights what America has to offer, featuring world-class recording artists, both national and local acts, cuisines from all over the world, art exhibits, carnival rides, and a spectacular fireworks display. Past years have drew well over 500,000 people into downtown Mount Clemens. With twice the entertainment and many more attractions, this year’s Stars & Stripes Festival is expected to bring over half a million people to Freedom Hill over the four day period.

Our events are a great way for local and regional bands to get exposure in front of large crowds. With the Stars & Stripes Festival alone, over 100 bands play on 3 different stages over one weekend. Local and Regional bands interested in playing our events must submit an application and press kit online.

ST. CLAIR SHORES - Organizers are working hard to beat the winter blues with a bigger and better Aqua Freeze Festival in February. This year's festival - with an Oscar theme in honor of the final day of the festival landing on Oscar Sunday - is Feb. 20-22 at Blossom Heath Park, east of Jefferson Avenue and south of 10 Mile Road.

Valuable knowledge makes it worthwhile...MacRay Harbor is hosting an educational series this winter. Both sessions will be held on the last Thursday of the month from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at no charge.

Don't miss the 10th Annual Downtown Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show. This is a great opportunity for the entire family to spend time outdoors during the Michigan winter while enjoying this unique show with carving demonstrations throughout the event. The show opens on Friday, January 30 and runs through Sunday, February 1.

The Detroit Boat Show is the Original, Biggest and Best boat show in the state of Michigan, featuring the premiere showing of hundreds of new 2014 and new non-current model boats, motors, trailers, accessories and more, ranging from 10- to potentially 50-feet in length, including: fishing boats, ski boats, pontoons, cruisers, inflatables, personal watercraft, kayaks, antique boats, race boats and much more.
