Rubber Ducky Race for Autism

Saturday, May 30th
Shorewood Kiwanis invites you to join them as a supporter of the inaugural Rubber Ducky Race fundraiser in support of the Henry Ford Health System Center for Autism and Development Disorders. 
 
The event begins at 11:00 a.m., with food vendors, face painting and games for kids. The race takes place at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2013. The event/race site is located at the Chapoton Retention Basin located at 23001 Nine Mile Road (Next to Fishbone's on Jefferson), St. Clair Shores, MI 48080. Hundreds of highly trained racing rubber ducks will be dropped into the water and will travel through the channel, with the victorious duck emerging at the opposite end.

Five organizations with a strong connection and dedication to Lake St. Clair are hosting a major celebration of the lake and its assets Saturday, June 13th, with activities to take place at MacRay Harbor on North River Road in Harrison Township. This year will feature kid’s activities, boating educational displays, a nautical yard sale and an expanded list of events and activities.

This is New Baltimores biggest annual event that draws crowds from miles away!!!! The Fish-fly festival (appropriately named because June in our town brings tons of fish flies) is a huge happening with rides, beer tents, games and fireworks.

The 6th annual Boating & Outdoors Festival returns this Lake St. Clair Metropark this today September 19 through Sunday, September 22! The event features a Boat Show and exhibits for outdoor enthusiasts, live music, fine art, beer tents and family fun for all! Show hours are: Thursday & Friday: Noon - 7:30, Saturday: 11am-7:30pm, and Sunday: 11am - 6pm!

Founded in 1987, this fair is one of the main supporters of the Miss St. Clair Shores Pageant. Through booth sales for our vendors they produce the scholarship money that helps the participating young women finance their college careers.
